   Position in Theoretical Computer Science at University of Rostock

  The Department of Computer Science at the University of Rostock seeks
a candidate for a C1 (BAT IIa) position at the Institute of Theoretical
Computer Science starting March 1, 1995 (or later).  The position is 
temporary for three years, with the possibility of extension for 
another three years.

  Candidates are required to know (or be willing to learn in a 
reasonably short period) the German language. They should be interested
in research and education in Computer Science and especially 
Theoretical Computer Science.

  The candidate has the possibility to write a dissertation or 
habilitation thesis. The group's active research interest includes 
graph algorithms, structural properties of graphs and graph models in 
several fields of computer science including e.g. relational database 
schemes, parallelity and complexity.
