                           LEDA 3.1 Release

  LEDA version 3.1 is now released. It can be _obtained_ by ftp at
URL: ftp://ftp.mpi-sb.mpg.de/pub/LEDA

  The directory pub/LEDA/articles contains several articles concerning
the library.
*Important:*: Please read the files Changes, and INSTALL first!!
Everyone who installs the new leda version, please send a mail to

   leda@mpi-sb.mpg.de

The Manual : The manual is no longer written as isolated tex-file but 
    extracted from the include-Files. Therefore it probably contains 
    several errors. Please inform us about every mistake you detect 
    (typos as well as inconsistencies between the library and the 
    specification).

The Platforms : We have compiled LEDA on all platforms which are 
    available for us. If it does not work on your platform, please send
    us the following information: the machine, the operating system 
    (version number), the compiler (version number) and the kind of 
    problem you have. If you have a fix for your installation problems 
    please send us a diff file.

Bugs : We have fixed all bugs we could reproduce and understand. 
    Whenever you find a bug please send us: Which platform do you use?
    A description of the bug. A short example program that shows the 
    bug.  A list of the fixed bugs (since version 3.0) can be found in
    the file Fixes.
