   Structural Information and Communication Complexity, SIROCCO '95
     International Colloquium, Olympia, Greece, June 12 - 14, 1995

  The 2nd in a series of annual colloquia on Structural Information 
and Communication Complexity will be held in the Olympic Academy, next
to the archaeological site of Olympia (the location is picturesque and
serene, and the facilities, situated among pine and cypress trees were
designed to host the members of the Olympic Games Committee). Original
papers are solicited on the interaction between structural information
and communication complexity in parallel and distributed computing. 
  *Topics of interest* include:
 o  topological awareness
 o  sense of direction
 o  metric information (e.g. number of nodes, diameter,...)
 o  implicit routing (e.g. compact, interval,...)
 o  complexity of constructing structural information
 o  complexity of maintaining structural information
  *Submission* The colloquium will comprise position papers (outlining 
open problems, research directions etc.), presentations of current 
research and group discussions. Authors should send 10 copies of an 
extended abstract of at most 15 double-spaced pages, clearly indicating
the results achieved, their significance, and their relation to other

  *Important Dates*  The submission deadline for papers is April 7.  
Authors will be notified of acceptance by electronic mail on or before
May 2, 1995.  Authors should include their electronic address.
  *Registration* The registration fee is US$400. The price includes all
expenses (lodging and meals; all events and the volume of proceedings).
Depending on the availability of funds, scholarships will be given to a
number of student participants and chosen by the program committee.
