  The aim of the workshop is to provide the general research community,
and in particular postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers,
with an in-depth view of parallel computing from the more theoretical
foundations through the emerging technologies to current and future
applications. Experts in these areas of parallel computing will present
intensive lectures over a two day period. The program of the workshop
consists of:

Alan Gibbons (Warwick) : Algorithm Design on the PRAM
Bill McColl (Oxford) : BSP Computation
Peter Dew (Leeds) : Scalable Computing using the WPRAM Model
John Tucker (Swansea) : Synchronous Concurrent Algorithms
Graham Megson(Newcastle) : Algorithm Engineering-An Emerging Discipline
John Sharp (Swansea) : Data Flow Computing
