The Department of Mathematics is seeking a career-track lecturer in Mathematics from 1st January 1996.
The Department particularly encourages applications from those whose research interests lie either in the field of Discrete Mathematics, or in areas of Mathematics with applications in the Social Sciences (e.g., Game Theory, Applied Probability Theory, Stochastic Calculus, Non-Linear Analysis, Learning Theory). However, consideration will be given to outstanding applicants in any branch of Mathematics.
The salary will be on the Lecturer Scale A/B at a point commensurate with experience within the range of GBP 15514 to GBP 26430 plus GBP 2134 London Allowance per year.
The closing date for applications is 24 August 1995. It is expected that interviews will be held in September 1995.
