     Departamento de Informatica, Universidade do Minho, Portugal

  The _Departamento de Informatica_ of the University of Minho has
available, for the academic year 1995/96, the following positions:

 o  Computer Foundations Group: 2 vacancies
 o  Programming Technology Group: 1 vacancy
 o  Teaching and Informatics Group: 1 vacancy
 o  Computer Communications Group: 1 vacancy
 o  Computer Engineering and Digital Systems Group: 1 vacancy
 o  Information Systems Group: 1 vacancy

  Candidates are required to have a Ph.D in a suitable area and some
research experience. The initial appointments will be made on the
_Assistente_ level (grade 135 of the Civil Service index) but, as a
function of the research and teaching experience of the the candidate,
can be upgraded to _Professor Auxiliar_ level.
