Bellcore's Security and Network Design Research Department consists of over 30 research scientists and developers working on various applied research projects in the areas of information security, distributed computing and network design. The researchers and developers are required in the following areas:

• Network Systems Security
• Information Networking Security
• Operating Systems and Data Base Security
• Interactive Services Security

Candidates must have Ph.D. or equivalent in Electronic Engineering or Computer Science with an emphasis on networking, cryptology, cryptographic, protocols, and security for distributed systems.
