[J7] ================================================ AMAST Links 02 07 Assistant Professorships Department of Mathematics, Carnegie Mellon University The Carnegie Mellon Department of Mathematics seeks to make two tenure track appointments at the Assistant Professor level, although applications at a more senior level will be considered. These positions will commence in the Fall of 1996. One appointment will be made in Discrete Mathematics or Mathematical Programming and candidates who can support the Department's educational program in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization are strongly preferred. The second appointment will be made in stochastic analysis and candidates for this position who can support the Department's educational programs in Mathematical Finance are strongly preferred.
