       Mailing lists and servers on Open Distributed Processing

  The international WG7 mailing list distributes mail regarding the 
work of Working Group 7 of the Joint Technical Committee 1 of ISO  
and ITU-T (CCITT).   Typically, the following areas are covered
by postings:

 o  announcements of WG7 meetings and activities
 o  discussion of WG7 standardisation activities, including some
    technical discussions of standard's
 o  distribution (size permitting) of national body ballot comments
    prior to standards meetings
 o  announcements and discussion of related activities, including work
    by the X/Open consortium and other standards groups.

  The ODP mailing list is still operating and is a subset of the 
WG7 list.   

  Material for the new WG7 list can be published on the ftp site 
containing the RM-ODP documents and other related documents.
