The Commercial Value of Agents:- An Exploration Through Practical Applications

Following the success of last years conference we are pleased to announce
PAAM97 - The Second International Conference and Exhibition on the
Practical Application of Intelligent Agents and MultiAgents.

PAAM96 had over 350 delegates attending the conference. Sponsors included
CompulogNet, British Telecom, PrologIA, Rank Xerox, BMC Software, LPA,
Fulcrum Technologies, ILOG, IF Computers and Siemens Nixdorf. This year's
conference should establish the PAAM series as the international forum for
information exchange on practical agents.

PAAM97 will include plenary sessions, a multi-track conference,
introductory and advanced tutorials, round-table discussions, and a full
industrial exhibition. The event will provide unrivalled insights into
leading-edge applications, systems, development tools, and techniques.

PAAM97 will showcase powerful industrial and commercial applications of
agent-based software, and include presentations from leading international
companies which are successfully introducing this key technology.

Call for Participation

Multi-agent technology is providing increasing benefit to business and
industry. PAAM97 will deal with key issues. How is agent technology
overcoming todays business problems? What developments can we expect to see
in the future? What are the tangible benefits and rewards of investment in
agents? What opportunities can agents create and where are the potential
pitfalls?

PAAM will form part of a five day Practical Application Expo which will
also include PAP97-The Practical Application of Prolog, PACT97-The
Practical Application of Constraint Technology and the introduction of a
new conference PADD97-The Practical Application of Knowledge Discovery and
Data Mining.
