The Department of Information Technology's research and teaching
activities
in Computer Science lie within the area which in DTU's Strategic Plan is
known as "IT Systems and Services". The principal topics of research in
Computer
Science at the department are:

- Mathematically well-founded methods and tools for software
development, together with their practical, industrial applications.

- Knowledge based systems, symbolic knowledge representation and
  logic programming.

- Methods and tools for software development for user interfaces.

- Specification and verification based on high-level descriptions
  of hardware and software.

interfaces, for example to sensors and actuators.

- Automatic synthesis of specialised hardware and software,
individually or together, from high-level descriptions of a design.

Applicants must be able to document research qualifications at an
international level within at least one of the above areas.

The department wishes to use these posts to stimulate interest in IT

interest in actively participating in this type of work are especially
encouraged to apply.

For both of these positions, we are seeking to employ a female

the university. Applicants may be called in for interview as part of
the evaluation process.

and more advanced levels, and must include a description of their
previous teaching experience in their application.
