The 4th. International Workshop on Randomization and Approximation
Techniques in Computer Science - RANDOM 2000 - will collocate with ICALP
2000 at the Computer Science Department of the University of Geneva,
Switzerland on July, 2000.
RANDOM 2000 is the fourth workshop in the series after Berkeley, Barcelona
and Bologna.

Papers are solicited in all research areas related to randomization and
approximation, including, but not limited to:

*design and analysis of randomized algorithms
* randomized complexity theory
* de-randomization techniques
* design and analysis of approximation algorithms
* complexity of approximation problems
* parallel and network algorithms
* sources of randomness
* inapproximability results
* average-case analysis
* approximation classes
* random combinatorial structures

                          GUIDELINE FOR SUBMISSION

Your paper must be received before March 17 at 5 pm PST for your submission
to be considered.
Submissions should consist of: a cover page, with the author's full name,
address, fax number, e-mail address; an extended abstract describing
